We hand-cut cabochons from over 150 stone varieties. Our regular lines include Lapis Lazuli, Mookaite and Brecciated Mookaite, Maligano Jasper, Seam Agate, Garden Quartz, Black Onyx and Wild Horse, alongside composite stones such as Cotton Candy Turquoise and Purple Ice Rose Dahlia. Where a stone is composite, stabilised or dyed rather than solid natural material, we say so clearly in the listing. New varieties are added regularly.
A cabochon is a gemstone shaped and polished rather than faceted — it has a smooth domed top and a flat back, which makes it ideal for bezel setting, wire wrapping and pendant work. Handmade means each stone is cut individually on a lapidary wheel by our cutters in Jaipur, rather than shaped by machine in bulk. Because every piece of rough has its own pattern, no two hand-cut cabochons are identical. The photograph you see is the exact stone you will receive.
Yes, we offer customization services for our gemstones and cabochons. You can choose the type of gemstone, shape, size, and other specifications to create a unique piece.
Yes, we make jewellery to order. Tell us the stone you’d like and the piece you have in mind — a pendant, ring or earrings — and we’ll quote you for it. Because every cabochon we cut is one of a kind, a commissioned piece is genuinely unique. Email support@pedragems.com with your idea and we’ll take it from there.

Yes. We ship worldwide from our workshop in Jaipur, India. Most of our customers are in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe.
